Industrial production decreased 3.8 percent in December

Industrial production in December 2012 decreased by 3.8 per cent compared to the same month of the previous year.

Turkey Statistical Institute (TSI), announced the results of the industrial production index for December of 2012.

Accordingly, in December of last year, according to the same month of the previous year and 10.4 percent in the mining and quarrying sector index, manufacturing industry sector index declined 3.6 percent.

Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector index fell 2.9 percent.

Calendar adjusted index, in December 2012, 1.4 per cent compared to the same month of 2011, seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production index decreased by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month.
